The Boland BGM7-4K (signal generator monitor) is a versatile, professional-grade combo unit designed for end-to-end circuit testing in truck bays, transmission rooms, and field workbenches. This dual-purpose tool features a built-in 4K signal generator capable of outputting a wide variety of test patterns (such as SMPTE RP-219 bars, split field bars, and multiburst) and media via 12G SDI, Quad Link 3G SDI, HDMI, and SFP ports. Simultaneously, its 7-inch “DayBrite” calibrated monitor provides a high-resolution display for incoming signals, supporting full 4K and UHD resolutions up to 60p.
The unit is highly portable, operating on 12V DC power (gold mount battery) with a quick-release 1/2 rack mount design, and includes an extensive suite of analysis tools like dual waveform/vector scopes, 16-channel audio meters, and a unique video data hex values display for deep signal inspection.
